The governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has expressed profound grief over the untimely death of a former commissioner for Special Duties, Yahaya Adesayo Ismail, whose sad event occurred on Monday, January 15th.

The governor described Adesayo’s death as a shocking, tragic, and heart-wrenching event with profound sense of grieve.

Governor Bello states that Adesayo Ismail was not merely a dedicated member of his cabinet but also an unwavering friend who stood steadfastly by his side throughout his political journey.

A statement by CPS to the Governor, Mohammed Onogwu, said Adesayo was a trustworthy man who lived for Allah and humanity with immeasurable love and compassion to all.

He acknowledged Adesayo’s invaluable contributions to the growth and development of both his community and the entire state and beyond.
