A political support group for President Bola Tinubu, BTO4BAT27, has said it is mobilising grelassroots in all the local governments in Ondo State to ensure an overwhelming victory for the President in the 2027 elections.

The group also said it will be supporting all nominated candidates of the All Progressives  Congress in the coming general elections.

The group’s Director-General, Gideon Adojutelegan, getting the President rejected was crucial so he could consolidate his achievements made in during his first tenure.

“For us, 2027 is not merely another election cycle. It is an opportunity to consolidate the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda, strengthen progressive governance and build a formidable political coalition capable of delivering decisive electoral victory from the grassroots,” he told journalists in Akure.

“Our position is unequivocal: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu deserves our full support for a renewed mandate, and every duly nominated APC candidate in Ondo State will receive the committed support of our political structure.”

Mr Adojutelegan said BTO4PBAT27 will work relentlessly across communities, wards and polling units to mobilise voters, strengthen party unity and deepen grassroots participation ahead of the elections.

“Our ambition is clear and measurable: to work towards delivering 90 per cent of the votes in Ondo State for President Tinubu and securing commanding victories for APC candidates across the state,” he said.

“This commitment goes beyond rhetoric. Elections are won through organisation, persuasion, reconciliation, voter engagement and the ability to translate political goodwill into votes at the polling unit. That is where our attention will remain.”

The group, which is backed by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, also pledged that “there will be no politics of selective loyalty and no divided commitment.”

“We will continue engaging youths, women, traders, artisans, professionals, community leaders and other critical stakeholders, taking our message directly to the people and making the case for continuity, stability and progressive governance.

“Our message across Ondo State will remain consistent: one party, one mission and one collective responsibility to deliver victory. We are confident in the strength of our people and the capacity of a united APC.

“Our 90 per cent target represents the scale of the political work we are prepared to undertake and the standard against which we intend to measure ourselves. From the grassroots to the ballot box, BTO4PBAT27 is ready. For President Tinubu, we will mobilise. For every APC candidate, we will work. For Ondo State, we will organise. For 2027, our mandate is total victory.”

In the same breath, the Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has declared zero tolerance for anti-party activities in the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Incidentally, some elements within the party had accused him of plotting to obstruct the party’s progress during the coming elections, an allegation he had vehemently denied.

He dismissed the allegations, describing it
as falsehoods being spread against him by some elements within the party.

While speaking with local council and ward Chairmen during a stakeholders meeting in Akure, the Governor affirmed that he had not asked any person to leave the APC to contest in any other party, charging the 18 local government and 203 ward chairmen of the APC to mobilise the grassroots and deliver victory for the party in the forthcoming elections.

He described the officials as critical components of the party’s structure and electoral machinery.

“Elections are won at the polling units. And the polling units are right there in the ward. And you are the ward chairmen. Very, very important. You are occupying a significant role in party structure,” he said.

The governor directed ward chairmen and secretaries to hold regular meetings and bring together party leaders in their respective wards to deliberate on party affairs and preparations for the elections.
