Lagos-based real estate developer, Olabode Omoyele, has doled out empowerment packages worth N100million to over 3000 residents of Okitipupa LGA of Ondo State.
In a colourful ceremony held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Iju-Odo, Omoyele distributed essential support items, including 1000 bags of 10kg of rice and cash gifts of N10,000 to 1000 widows.

The event which drew dignitaries, party leaders, community leaders and beneficiaries from far and near, also featured the presentation to farmers of 1000 spraying pumps, 1000 bottles of herbicides, N50,000 cash presentation to 200 youths, N50,000 cash to 50 men and another N50,000 cash to 100 women, in addition to over 1000 cutlasses shared to farmers.
Omoyele, founder of the Olabode Humanitarian Foundation and a notable chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is also a prominent member of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Continuity Project in Ondo State.
Speaking at the event, he said the gesture signposts his commitment to community development, grassroots empowerment, and support for the vulnerable.
A major highlight of the event was the official launch of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Continuity Project in Ondo State, led by its Director-General, Pastor Femi Agagu, former Commissioner for Education and former Chief of Staff to the late Governor Olusegun Agagu.
The event recorded an impressive turnout of APC leaders and stakeholders, including: Princess Catherine Oladunni Odu, former Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin, Member, House of Representatives, Hon. Muyiwa Asagunla, Director General, Asiwaju Mandate Group, Ondo State, Hon. Ifedayo Iji, Basorun Tony Meduoye, Hon. Nimbe Tawose, Hon. Afolabi Iwalewa, former Member, Ondo State House of Assembly, Dr Mrs Morenike Alaka former Chairman of Okitipupa local government council and several other prominent party leaders.
Beneficiaries of the empowerment programme expressed overwhelming gratitude to Olabode Omoyele for his uncommon generosity and his consistent efforts to uplift the living standards of the people, especially farmers, youths, widows, and the less privileged.
Omoyele told Journalist at the event that the empowerment initiative was born out of his passion for community development and his desire to create meaningful impact in the lives of people across Okitipupa LGA.
He also specifically lauded the superlative performance of the Honourable Minister of Interior Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and also thanked him for his immeasurable contribution to the campaign for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Ondo State.
He noted that Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has continued to work relentlessly via various platforms such as the Asiwaju Mandate Group and PBAT Continuity Project in Ondo State to ensure that the good works of the Mr President continue beyond 2027.
“This initiative is driven by my commitment to making life better for our people, particularly the vulnerable,” he said.
”We must continue to support one another to build a stronger and more prosperous community.”
Some participants described the empowerment programme as one of the most impactful community interventions in recent times within Okitipupa Local Government.
They asserted that the gesture reinforced Olabode Omoyele’s reputation as a compassionate leader, humanitarian, and advocate for inclusive development.
