‎The Nigerian Flying Eagles were held in 1-1 draw in friendly match with the Chilean Under-20 team in the build up to 24th FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
‎
‎Both teams uses the friendly match which held in the city of Rancagua on Saturday fine-tune their fitness as the competition begins in seven days time.
‎
‎Nigeria opened the score sheet in the 18th minute of the game, as Ahmed Akinyemi converted a corner kick  by Tahir Maigana to put Nigeria ahead.
‎
‎The Chileans however leveled up within  18 minutes later through Falipe Faundez.
‎
‎The Flying Eagles goal keeper, Ebenezer Harcourt, put up a brilliant showing in the second half of the game with two critical saves.
‎
‎The Flying Eagles made a number of substitution’s in the second half, with players like Abduljelil Kamaldeen, Kparobo Arhieri and Auwal Ibrahim coming in to add tonic to the side.
‎
‎A draw is seen as a fair outcome, as both teams would need to work on their areas of weakness.
‎
‎The Flying Eagles are biled to face  Australian in another friendly encounter on Tuesday.
