Sometimes just one moment makes a game, and Dominik Szoboszlai’s tremendous late free kick lifted Liverpool to a 1-0 win over Arsenal in a scrappy affair at Anfield on Sunday.
A tensed match it was as one of the both needed the 3 points before the international break, but Liverpool the home team showed more resilience to win and they got it.
The game proved a had knot to crack as expected, both teams had the varieties of players skillful, physical,aerial strength etc.
Liverpool of coarse had the home advantage and they capitalized on that.
Arsenal also had squad setback, even though they had new signings like Eberechi Eze , Bukayo Saka the Star boy of the Gunners was missing due to injury setback , this was another minus to the Arsenal squad .
Both teams played their best, it was a balance game not until Liverpool got a free kick to a lot of fans and spectators surprised it was wonderfully converted by Dominic Slobozliai of Liverpool to get the shot past David Raya.
A lot believe that after the huge spendings Arsenal has made on signing key players they should be able to win or get a draw from Liverpool but that looks like an impossible task from Arteta and his boys.
One begin to question Mikel Arteta’s decisions, imagine having Eberechi Eze on the bench and still choose to play Gabriel Martinnelli till the 70th minute.
It’s crystal clear that Arteta’s rigidness in tactics is leading Arsenal to jeopardy.
