Lobi Stars’ technical adviser, Daniel Amokachi, has expressed hopes that his team would bounce back, after the disastrous home loss to Enyimba.
The Makurdi club lost 1-0 to Stanley Eguma’s side in a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 22 encounter at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi on Monday.
Ifeanyi Ihemekwele netted the winning goal for Enyimba five minutes before the break.
Lobi Stars remain in 19th position on the table following the defeat.
“We had an exceptional game in Uyo, and with our new signings, we’re confident in our ability to make a comeback. Although they took their chance, we’ll learn from this experience and move forward,” Amokachi told the club’s media.
“Bauchi has become a second home to Lobi Stars, and we’ll continue to fight. We’ll take this as a learning experience and come back stronger.”
Lobi Stars will be away to Rivers United in their next league game this weekend.
