As the Ondo State governorship election continues, the governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, says he has no reason to concerns so far in the process.

He however said he would accept the result of the polls even if it was not in his favour.

According to him, the election has been peaceful and he was yet to hear anything report of infractions during the process.

“I will accept the outcome of the polls even if it did not favour my party, provided the process was free and devoid of fraud,” Mr Aiyedatiwa said.

He urged residents to be calm and peaceful while the process is ongoing.

Mr Governor also noted the effectiveness of the security agencies and INEC officials in ensuring a smooth of the election.

Mr Aiyedatiwa voted at his community in Obenla, in Ilaje LGA, at PU 005, Ward 04.

Voting is still ongoing as of the time of filing this report across most voting centers across Ilaje LGA.
