The Asiwaju Coalition of Yoruba Youth has officially endorsed Prince Diran Iyantan as the leading Governorship aspirant in the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State.

With the party’s primary election scheduled for Saturday, the Coalition has thrown its full support behind Prince Iyantan, recognizing him as a core progressive aspirant who will represent the overall interest of the progressives in the state.

The National Coordinator of the group, Ayinde Akorede Abduljaleel, highlighted Prince Diran Iyantan’s AFEFE ITURA campaign organization’s readiness to accommodate other aspirants, showcasing a commitment to unity within the party.

He said with Prince Iyantan’s experience and capability to unite all aspirants in the APC, he is positioned as the ideal candidate to lead the party to victory in the forthcoming governorship election in Ondo State.

Prince Diran Iyantan has been lauded for providing a platform for young people to voice their concerns and ideas, promising to empower them to actively participate in decision-making processes that affect their lives. The Asiwaju Coalition of Yoruba Youth emphasized these attributes as essential qualities that align with the core objectives of the group.

The Coalition urged all members of the APC in Ondo State to unite and vote en masse for Prince Diran Iyantan in Saturday’s primary election, emphasizing the importance of electing an aspirant with an unblemished progressive background and identity to lead Ondo State.

The national coordinator also noted that as a former Commissioner in the state and Federal Commissioner at the National Population Commission, Prince Iyantan’s track record of service and commitment to the progressives’ cause have earned him the Coalition’s full support.

Comrade Abduljaleel reiterated the group’s unwavering support for Prince Diran Iyantan, citing his dedication to the progressive values and his potential to retain Ondo State as a progressive state in the upcoming governorship election if elected as the party’s standard-bearer in the APC primary election on Saturday.
